About BPC-157
BPC-157 (Body Protection Compound-157) is a synthetic pentadecapeptide — a 15-amino-acid sequence derived from a partial sequence identified in human gastric juice. It is one of the most widely referenced compounds in preclinical tissue-repair research, studied extensively in animal and cellular models rather than in confirmed human clinical trials.
Much of the published BPC-157 literature comes from in vivo animal studies and in vitro cellular research examining its proposed role in tissue-protective and regenerative signalling pathways, including angiogenesis (new blood vessel formation) and growth-factor-related activity. Human clinical evidence remains limited, and BPC-157 is not an approved medicine in the UK or elsewhere.
Reliable Research Labs supplies BPC-157 as a 5 mg vial of lyophilised powder, strictly for qualified laboratory research. See our Compound Library entry for BPC-157 for a wider overview of tissue-repair research peptides.
