About GHK-Cu
GHK-Cu is a copper-binding tripeptide — the copper(II) complex of the tripeptide GHK (glycyl-L-histidyl-L-lysine). GHK itself is a naturally occurring human peptide fragment; GHK-Cu refers specifically to its complex with copper ions, which is the form most frequently used in laboratory and cosmetic-science research. GHK-Cu is also referred to in some literature and commercial contexts as copper tripeptide-1.
It should not be confused with plain GHK (without copper), or with topical cosmetic products marketed under similar names — this product is a laboratory research compound, not a finished cosmetic formulation, and is not evaluated against cosmetic-product standards.
GHK-Cu has been studied extensively in cellular and preclinical research for its copper-binding properties and proposed role in extracellular-matrix signalling. This product is supplied by Reliable Research Labs as a 10 mg vial of lyophilised powder, tested to ≥99.8% purity by HPLC analysis. See our Compound Library entry for GHK-Cu for a wider overview.
