About Tesamorelin
Tesamorelin is a synthetic analogue of growth-hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH), a 44-amino-acid peptide chain studied for its action at the GHRH receptor and its downstream effect on pulsatile growth hormone release and IGF-1 signalling.
Tesamorelin has a more established clinical research history than many compounds in this library. A pharmaceutical tesamorelin product, marketed under a different brand name, has received regulatory approval in some jurisdictions specifically for reducing excess visceral adipose tissue in a defined clinical population. This approval applies to that specific licensed pharmaceutical product and indication — it does not extend to, or imply approval of, research-grade tesamorelin material supplied for laboratory use, including this product.
Reliable Research Labs supplies tesamorelin as a 5 mg vial of lyophilised powder, tested to ≥99.7% purity by HPLC analysis, strictly for qualified laboratory research. See our Compound Library entry for Tesamorelin for a wider overview of GHRH-pathway research compounds.
